I first lived in DC 30 years ago and have lived here fulltime for 20 years, the last 7 here in beautiful Burleith – with my wife and son. I’m our ANC’s liaison on schools and have testified before the the DC Council dozens of times on transportation, climate change, education, and parks – working hard to win investments in our public resources like Bikeshare stations, Jelleff Community Center and Ellington Field. Previously I was elected as an ANC in Dupont Circle. I’ve worked for over a decade with DC Health Link – helping DC residents access health coverage through the Affordable Care Act.

My district is blessed with arts, culture, learning, sports, and natural beauty! We have DC’s premiere arts school Duke Ellington with our city’s most talented young artists performing regularly. We have the great Hardy Middle School, Ellington Field (soon to be revitalized) and wonderful hiking in Whitehaven Park. We also have excellent health care at Medstar Georgetown Hospital
