Advisory Neighborhood Commission 2E: SMD 2E05

Mimsy Lindner

Originally from New Orleans, Georgetown has been home to me for almost 40 years. I have
lived in 4 different areas throughout Georgetown and have enjoyed the benefits of each one.
My husband and I raised our 4 children near Volta Park, and I served as President of the Friends
of Volta Park for 10 years. In like fashion, over the years I found it rewarding to focus my
volunteer time on neighborhood, schools, and church. The people that make up the dynamic
fabric of Georgetown inspire one to make things better. I look forward to meeting you and being of service in addressing issues that may arise. Send me an email and I will happily add you to my distribution list.

Single member district area 2E05

Mimsy Lindner is the ANC2E commissioner for the SMD 2E05. This area covers most of M Street and below M to the river. Also, in 2E05, above M Street, are blocks of beautiful residential homes, a bit of
Wisconsin Avenue and a stretch reaching the University. And, let us not forget that the spectacular C&O Canal, Georgetown Waterfront Park and the wonderful Teddy Roosevelt Island, are also part of this Single Member District (SMD). Taken together it’s a special district with so many facets, and I will endeavor to ensure that all my constituents are represented in balance.
