I have resided in Georgetown for over a decade and in DC for over two decades. My family and I live on O Street between 30th and 31st – having recently moved across the street from our initial home.
Civic engagement is critical to keeping our neighborhood vibrant, safe, clean, and welcoming. Serving on the ANC is a meaningful way to give back to the community I love. Gwendolyn Lohse is the ANC2E commissioner for the SMD 2E06. SMD 2E06 is in the middle of the beautiful East Side, starting from the Four Seasons and going north to Q Street. The SMD has a delightful mix of commercial businesses, restaurants, historic residential homes, apartments, city/Federal parkland and six religious facilities.
